Saving our history in pictures
Buster Simmons, and Willie Buttram, I Richard Carroll, am the photographer. One day these things may no longer be here to see. So a pictures may be the only evidence thiat it was here.
About a thousand feet from the church is the road to Rabbit Town. It turns left up the mountain side by a contributory creek that empties into the Clinchmore creek. The road is not long but it is very steep. This road joins with one of the ATV trails but is not a true part of the new trail. Most of the houses sit on the left side of this road. going up the mountain. Buster's first wife was from this area of Clinchmore.
We had to rest a while here. It was a hard climb to reach the ATV road.
Willie holds a old bottle of tip (a soft drink) that is no longer produced.
